²⁷ Next to them, the people of Tekoa repaired the wall from the great tower that extends from the palace to the wall of Ophel.

²⁸ The priests made repairs above the Horse Gate, each working in front of his own house. ²⁹ Next to them, Zadok son of Immer made repairs across from his own house. Next to him, Shemaiah son of Shecaniah, the guard of the East Gate, made repairs.
